A Monologue in the minds of U.S.A.'s interventionists
Oh! Oh! It's time for the Summit in Latin America! Man, one's gotta think of something to eclipse the summit! What can one come up with. Venezuela, ya know, is, on many levels, the next Syria, but one can't let this cat out of the bag.
Lite bulb! (It is spelled "light bulb", but the light bulb in the mind of an interventionist has a more explosive spelling. Man, why didn't I think of this sooner. The answer is spelled I-S-I-S. Isis is like a multi-use tool or cleaner around the house, or anywhere, so those of us who created this thing called Isis really deserve a medal.
Not only does Isis mess up Syria big time, but it can also save us, like a bell, from giving full attention to this inconvenient Summit. Isis can distract us from attending this useless Summit in Latin American in 2018. We can blame Isis, pretending that we are saving the world from Isis, so we play hooky.
So, one can use the excuse that we must destroy the weapons of mass destruction in Syria and lead a strike in Douma. Wait a minute! Did I say "weapons of mass destruction"? I'd better watch it! I'm glad I caught myself before saying this out loud. I meant to say chemical weapons. There one has it! The chemical weapons program sites in Syria must be bombed!
Reports claim that the strikes against their government didn't really change anything for Syrians. But, it doesn't matter, does it? Why should it? It was just a distraction to steal attention from the Latin Summit! Get it?
Mission Accomplished! The real mission being avoidance of the Summit in Latin America! We accomplished our Mission, alright!
